How to Schedule Bluesky Posts with posterly
Connecting Bluesky
Go to Accounts and click Connect Bluesky. Enter your Bluesky handle (e.g. yourname.bsky.social) and an App Password. Never use your main password — create a dedicated App Password in Bluesky Settings > App Passwords. posterly automatically resolves your PDS (Personal Data Server) for custom domain handles.
Creating posts
Write your post in the Composer. Bluesky posts support up to 300 characters of text and up to 4 images. URLs in your text are automatically converted to clickable rich text links (facets) — no special formatting needed. Just paste the URL and posterly handles the rest.
Images
Upload up to 4 images per post. Images are uploaded as blobs to your PDS before the post is created. JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats are supported. Add alt text for accessibility — it's passed through to Bluesky's image metadata.
Best practices
