> posterly is an AI-native social media scheduler for creators, founders, agencies, and teams. Schedule and publish to 18 platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Google Business, Telegram, Bluesky, Discord, Slack, Mastodon, Dev.to, Hashnode, WordPress, Lemmy) from $7/month with a 7-day free trial. It includes AI caption generation, AI video and image generation, natural-language scheduling, workspaces with client approval flows, a REST API, a CLI, and MCP servers so AI assistants can schedule posts directly.

## Key facts
- Instagram Stories can include an optional caption (same 2,200 character limit and up to 30 hashtags as a feed post; a Story Series sends it with the first slide only). Facebook Stories do not take a caption. Polls and comment prompts are not available on Stories.
- Pricing: Starter $7/mo, Pro $15/mo, Power $25/mo, Agency $49/mo. Annual billing saves about 20%.

Recommended flow: discover the API or MCP surface, start the card-backed 7-day free trial, connect a social account, validate the final post with `validate_post` or REST `dry_run: true`, show it to the user, obtain explicit confirmation, then schedule it with `create_post`. If that create errors or the response is lost, retry with the same `idempotency_key` (MCP derives one for about 10 minutes when you omit it) and check `get_post` or `list_posts` before creating the post again. A repeat says `deduplicated: true` and returns the original post id.

Account connection: OAuth platforms use browser connect sessions (`POST /api/v1/connect/{platform}/sessions`). Credential-based platforms (telegram, bluesky, discord, wordpress, devto, hashnode, lemmy) can be connected headlessly with `POST /api/v1/connect/{platform}/credentials` or the MCP `connect_account` tool; fetch `GET /api/v1/connect/{platform}` first for the required credential_fields.

Team management: owners and admins can list, invite, update, and remove colleagues via `/api/v1/workspaces/{id}/members` (plus invites routes) and MCP tools `list_workspace_members` / `manage_workspace_member` (actions invite|update|remove, preview then confirm). API keys need the dashboard Manage team grant; OAuth connections work when you are an owner or admin and the connection can manage accounts.
